This Knife is a no-nonsense tactical knife that has been well documented in the media over the past several years; however, its adoption by the US Military, and our adoption by numerous federal agencies worldwide, is due in no small part to the fact that it offers a significantly lower ASAT (Abrasive Cutting Tool Acceptance), provides a better "penetration" resistance, provides a higher wear resistance, and offers a higher tensile strength compared to other steels. Additionally, the upswept Tanto tip provides a higher hit ratio than a traditional Modified Tanto and allows the user to apply more force when using conventional utility knives, without causing damage to the handle or its sheath.
